Get rid of a pen or pencil.

Or two or three.

Or 50, if you want.

By the end of today, your house will be one writing utensil lighter.

I don't care what you do with it. Just get it out of your possession.

Pick a really cruddy, leaky one and give yourself two points for shooting it into the wastebasket.

Choose a pen that still works, but that you don't like. Maybe it writes with a big fat line. Or blue isn't your color. If you can't bear to toss out something that still works, take it with you and leave it in a public place where people usually need to write (like at the bulk bins at the grocery store, or near the scrap paper at the library).

Was that too easy? Good. Not everything in life needs to be hard.
